About Us

Grief Groups LA was built by therapists who wanted to humanize grief. Grief can be icky, confusing, and a knot of tangled emotions that makes you want to retreat, lash out, or simply hide away. There truly is no single "right" way to experience it. We started this group after noticing a major gap in care: so often, grief support is locked behind specific hospital networks, existing mental health systems, or religious frameworks. We wanted to meet the need of our community.

As practitioners who have walked through our own profound journeys with grief and loss, we offer a grounded, empathetic space where you don't have to carry it alone, giving you room to fully witness, honor, and walk through your grief at your own pace.
